Hello! I am Heather Vogel. I come from a long history of being in animal husbandry. It started in 4-H as a 10 year old and developed into a lifelong passion. I have shown and bred dogs and horses as well as ran 2 Arabian horse breeding farms. I have been a consultant in holistic animal nutrition as well as a professional groomer since 2008. I understand the impact genetic diseases and improper diets have on the longevity of the breed and the quality of life of the animal. We are registered with both the CFA and TICA. We want to be known for having the healthiest, most awesome looking, social Maine Coon cats around. We have taken great time and effort to locate the "look" we want to be represented by in our legacy. Our foundation cats are imported from Russia or are of Russian import descent. We take great pride in only breeding the healthiest cats that will better the Maine Coon breed by testing for over 40 different types of genetic diseases as well as all infectious diseases, regular echocardiograms of the heart to rule out heart disease, and x-rays for hip dysplasia to ensure we are producing just that. We strive to give you the greatest longevity from your newest member of your Maine Coon famiy. Our kittens are raised with love in our home until they leave to yours. All of our Maine Coons are socialized with dogs, kids, and other cats. They do not live in kennels or cages.

Welcome to the HDCoonz family!! Your journey with a Maine Coon cat from HDCoonz does not end with you leaving the driveway. We are committed to a lifetime of happiness for our Maine Coon kittens and want their new families to have the same outlook. We want to have follow ups from you and we are here to help you navigate any obstacle that comes your way.

The success of our kittens is our highest priority. We socialize and do everything we can to set them up for a lifetime of just that in their furever home. Please do your research on this breed. Though they are considered the dog of the cat world, Maine Coons are LARGE, HAIRY, require grooming, and live upwards of 15+ years. Please have a plan in place if someone in your family has or could develop allergies prior to purchase. This is a commitment not to be taken lightly. While we will always take a cat back, we want these animals to have the stability of a furever home. We are a closed to the public cattery but will gladly facetime and send videos and updates.
